Why are Executive Function
Skills so important?
Children need these skills all the time.
They need them to:
▪ Learn in lessons and complete homework
▪ Enjoy activities outside of school
▪ Make friendships and get on with others
▪ Manage when things go wrong.

the final chapter of this booklet.
