What did we find out?
▪ Your brain shifts from one things to another really quickly.
▪ It is harder for your brain to block outside distractions and
inside thoughts that are not to do with the task.
What does this mean in life?
▪ It means you may easily miss information and get confused.
▪ Your mind may wander from a task and mean you do not finish
in time.
What can you do about it?
▪ You can train your brain to block inside the brain and outside the brain
distractions better.
▪ You can ‘Prep4Best’ ahead of time – we will look at that in the next session.
▪ You can reduce distractions by a) wearing noise cancelling headphones, b)
choosing a seat away from people moving around c) letting people know
you need to focus and could you have quiet time. Take control of your brain!
