Shift from seeing something as a ‘difficulty’ to whether
a strength is ‘helpful or ‘unhelpful’ at that moment
❑ Rigid ‘determined donkey’ thinking is unhelpful when it comes to compromise,
team work, shifting tasks and adapting to change.
❑ However, it is really helpful when making sure safety policies are followed
accurately.
❑ It is also an advantage when sticking to a cause or principle. Think Rosa Parks and
her rigidity in standing up for human rights. 24
