1. Teach (Pro-Social & Pro-Learning Behaviours)
We often assume children know what we are expecting in terms of pro-
social and pro-learning behaviours.
Some children will not have experienced good models in the home and
community to help them understand.
We therefore need to teach this explicitly by:
▪ Stories with examples of the behaviours we are wanting to develop.
▪ Videos / TV/ films which show examples – some may be too
complex for children but we can use clips from them e.g.:
