KEY MESSAGES:
▪ Executive Function skill differences is frequently at play when a
child struggles.
▪ It is crucial that all adults caring and supporting children know
Executive Functions well.
▪ It is crucial that children understand these skills too. Why?
Because it is hard to change something you do not understand.
▪ We can help children to build Executive Function skills and to
scaffold those areas which are harder to change (e.g. Working
Memory).
