Making the most of the training:
Just reading through notes from a training session is probably one of the worst
ways to learn. It can give us the feeling we have remembered more than we
really have.
To strengthen neural pathways and embed understanding from training better, it
is important to try to retrieve information before reading any notes. We
therefore start each unit with a set of questions.
Before looking at the subsequent slides, try to use what you remember from the
training to answer these questions. Try not to sneaky beak at the slides until
you have tried with all your brain power to answer the questions. You could do
this by explaining answers to yourself, to someone else or writing notes.
Answers to each question can be found on the final slides of each unit.
