Appeal Bundle

There is a second important point I urge you to clarify before the meeting. That is the
supposed authority in the AWNP for an allocation of 50+ units on the WH:EDF site when IT
DOES NO SUCH THING AND YOU KNOW IT!

               Your report states:

                                 .
However, you also include the following assertion by Mr William Dorman, MSDS Urban
                                                                                                      11
               Planner:

There no room for ambiguity in this statement MSDC Urban Planner is stating
                      is
categorically that the 50+ units is justified by the AWNP. And if Mr Dorman believes his
views on I respectfully recommend an urgent visit to Specsavers.
I appreciate that Mr Dorman is a supporter of the application, but his implication that 50+ is
justified by AWNP and was allocated is simply untrue. You know it and Mr Dorman knows it
and AWVC has categorically confirmed the position. What really disturbs me is why you
included Mr Dorman statement in the report when you knew it implied an untruth. The
intention of the Ashurst Wood Neighbourhood Plan was that no more than 26 dwellings
were right for the WH:EDF site and that the manorial building on the WH:LIC site should
               remain.

I would prefer not to fight over the past or the shenanigans that have gone on over the area
of the WH:EDF site (thereby reducing the density per hectare) providing you correct Mr
Dorman ruling once and for all and put the Committee on the proper track.

Believe it or not, I and most of my neighbours support AHL development of the WH:EDF
and WH:LIC sites and appreciate that village and district planners have a difficult job
especially when under pressure from central government to maximise numbers and meet
               delivery deadlines.
