On the train back home. Been a long day, but got there in the end after 5 hours of negotiations.
It was clear to me at an early stage that they tried to undermine my case and you saw their statement report I sent
to you last night.
RF went back and forth 8 times and we managed to reach a settlement at 460k
It's not as much as I wanted as I have had 39k in interim payments already. I have subrogated obligations to pay
back Cirencester and private health, but all that will be negotiable.
In the end I will have 330k on my bank account in a few weeks and I think for my own health, Lou and I etc. .. it's
time to move on!!! CAA is issuing me the instructor license next week, I m about to start with L3 and I met with CAE
yesterday and they are very positive but can't offer work just right now, but I expect to get work from them shortly.
Who knows, in a few years I might get my medical back and I have no one to answer to.
If my SFI work takes off, being self employed could work out really well.
