Get into the holiday spirit and bring a grown-up to help you build a gingerbread house with graham crackers, frosting and candies!
Elf on a Shelf (All ages)

A mischievous elf has taken up residence in the Youth Department. Find her and you’ll receive a holiday sticker.
Holiday Break Crafts (All ages)

Drop-in program, no registration needed
Drop in anytime while on break and enjoy a variety of holiday and winter crafts to take and make at home.
Hunt for Hearts (All ages)
February - All Month Long
During the month of February, we will be hiding paper hearts throughout theYouthDepartment. IfyoufindoneandbringittousattheYouthDesk, you’ll be entered into a prize drawing for a soft and huggable prize.
Family Book Bingo (Ages 5 and up)
Sunday, January 9, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Registration is required and begins December 20.
Note: Please sign up all family members who will attend. Come to the library, play Bingo, and win books as prizes.

Family Game Day (All Ages)
Sunday, February 6, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
Drop-in Program. No registration required.
We’ll have lots of fun board games out for you to play with the family.
Enhanced Storytime
(Ages 0-5, with a caregiver)

10:15 – 11:15 a.m.
Registration is required.
Register for each date separately.
These monthly storytimes will expand the early literacy
and language skills we always incorporate into storytime by adding stations to explore and develop fine motor, sensory, problem solving, gross motor and social emotional skills. Each family will receive one copy of the featured story to take home and keep. (Made possible by a grant from the Great Start Collaborative).
Library Explorers *New Program* (Grades 3-5) *Registration begins December 20. Register for each date separately.
Baking (and Not Baking)
Monday, January 31, 6:30 p.m.
Learn about some of the basics of baking – measurement, tools, skills – and then make your own batch of no-bake cookies to take home.
Coins, Coins, Coins
Monday, February 28, 6:30 p.m.
Investigate coins to learn more about their history, images and how they are made. We’ll also do a coin rubbing activity.
