Commemoratives
& Donations
Commemorative donations are a meaningful way to remember a deceased friend or relative, or to honor someone on a special occasion. Donations are used to purchase books and other materials for the library, or may be directed to the Endowment Fund as a way to help sustain the library in the future. All donations should be directed to the Library Director.
To make a commemorative donation to purchase a book or other materials, checks should be made out to the “Oxford Public Library”.
To make a commemorative donation to the Oxford Public Library Endowment Fund, checks should
be made payable to the “Four County Community Foundation”, with “Oxford Public Library Endowment” notated in the notes field.

    Library News
and Rural Libraries Conference Patron Services Award, an honor that was bestowed upon her by her peers from across the state of Michigan. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Performance from Chatham College, Pittsburgh, PA, and a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI.
Ms. Berman is very well acquainted with our community and with our Library.
These attributes, along with her extensive background, breadth of knowledge, experience in the industry, and her positive energy and enthusiasm, were just a few
of the reasons why we are honored to welcome her back to Oxford Public Library.
Jaema Berman
Joins the OPL Team
We are pleased to announce that Jaema Berman has joined our
team as Head of Adult Services. Prior to accepting her new role, Ms. Berman served as Director of the Addison Township Public Library (2011-2022); as an Adult Services Librarian at the Waterford Township Library (2006-2011); as Coordinator of the Library Technician Program at Oakland Community College in Auburn Hills (1999-2015); and as a Public Services Librarian at the Oxford Public Library (2005-2006). In 2018 Ms. Berman received the Loleta Fyan Small
