Commemorative donations are a meaningful way of remembering deceased friends and relatives or honoring people on special occasions. Donations are used to purchase books and other materials or deposited in
the Library Endowment Fund for future use. Checks should be made payable to the Oxford Public Library and will be accepted by the Director.

Laura Fromwiller,
Head of Adult Services
Please welcome Laura Fromwiller to the Oxford Public Library team. Laura joined our team in May as Head of Adult Services upon the Retirement of Sandy Gilmore.
Laura comes to OPL from the Lapeer
District Library, where she served the past 21-years of her professional career as Branch Librarian at the Marguerite deAngeli Branch in Lapeer, and concurrently served as Head of Reference Services for the entire District Library system. As a librarian, historian,
and published author, Laura brings to our team an extensive understanding of library administration and management, budgeting, research, as well as an impressive background in collection development and programming.
She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree
in Social Work and Criminal Justice from the University of Michigan in Flint, and her Master of Library and Information Science Degree with a concentration in Reference Services from Wayne State University in Detroit. We are pleased to welcome her aboard.
