Average temperature of both water = (60 + 10) / 2 = 35º C

Observation:

The final temperature of water is 33º C ˜ The average temperature of water

Conclusion:

When 2 objects with different temperature contacts, thermal energy
transfers from the hotter object to the cooler one until thermal equilibrium

occurs and they reach the same temperature.
