The balance of water in a watershed
? Where there is more rainfall, the water level in rivers or streams
will increase causing floods.
? Where there is little rainfall, the water level in rivers or streams
will decrease causing drought.
? But when there is water balance, rivers or streams will have
constant source of fresh water.
