Adjective/Adverb  Superlative

good/well         the best
bad/badly         the worst
many/much         the most
little            the least
far               the farthest/the furthest

Important Notes:

*Words like: hard- late – straight and fast can be adjectives or adverbs according
to their position in the sentence.
*Words like: friendly –lovely – silly and ugly are adjectives even they end in -ly.
*The words: hardly and lately are adverbs which mean seldomly and recently.
They are not the adverbs of hard and late.
*There are a few adjectives that we have to use 'more' or 'most' with, even though
they only have one syllable. We CAN'T add 'er' or 'est'.
fun ? more fun / most fun
real ? more real / most real
right ? more right / most right
