Leaves
They have tiny openings called stomata.
They contain chlorophyll pigment.
All leaves have vessels for transporting.
Function:
“Main function” is to make the food,
they perform photosynthesis
using water, carbon dioxide and sunlight.
They collect / capture sunlight by chlorophyll
The air enters and gets out from the leaf through stomata.
Stomata are tiny “pores” on the leaves’ surface that allow
gases to pass “in and out” the plant.
