        Square roots and cube root

What is a Square Root of a perfect square?

It means to find the square of a number (a) we search a number
which multiplied by itself equal the number a (squared).

A perfect square number has two square roots one is
positive and the other is negative.

The number 16 has 2 squares roots which are 4,-4

16 = 4  - 16 = -4                    ± 16 = ±4

The symbol ( . ) denotes the positive square root

 What is a Cubic Root?

The cubic root of a number is a value that, when multiplied by itself
three times, gives the original number.

?27 = 3 because 3 × 3 x 3 = 27
?8 = 2 because 2 × 2 x 2 = 8
