Associative Property of Multiplication

Associative Property states that when you group factors in
different ways, the product is the same.

For example,
5 × 4 × 2 = ( 5 × 4 ) × 2 = 20 × 2 = 40

= ( 5 × 2 ) × 4 = 10 × 4 = 40
= ( 4 × 2 ) × 5 = 8 × 5 = 40
