What is the Past Simple?

We use the Past Simple tense to talk about

actions that happened in the past and finished.

Yesterday – last (last night, last year, last

Sunday, last year …………………….) –

ago (one year ago, Two days ago ,……………………).

Irregular Verbs

Some verbs are called irregular verbs.

We do not add –ed in the past.
