Fix Me! (By Jose del Astillero)
Brad looked angry.
“What’s the matter, Brad?” asked his father.
“I want to play with my birthday present—this
robot. He’s named Trex. But he doesn’t work!” said
Brad angrily. “He doesn’t speak!”
“Let’s see. Did you follow the instructions?” asked
his dad.
“Yes, Dad. Look. Can you fix Trex?”
Brad’s father tried and tried to fix me, but I still
didn’t speak. Brad put me on a shelf with some old
and broken toys.
