Lateral area = perimeter of base x h
Total area = L.A + 2 A , Area = L x W
Example (1):
The height of a cuboid is 4 cm. and its base is a square of side length 5cm.
find:
1- Its volume 2- Its lateral area 3- Its total area
Volume = 4 x 5 x 5 = 100 ??????
Lateral area = ( 5 + 5 ) x 2 x 4 = 80 ??????
Total area = 80 + 2 x 5 x 5 = 130 ??????
