Electricity
A form of energy comes from a flow of electric charges (Electrons)
along a path.
Electric Current
The flow of electric charges Electrons along a closed path.
The Electric Circuit: The closed path for transmitting an electric current.
To obtain an electric current,
the electric circuit must be
closed. “Without breaks”
1- A source of electricity: Battery / Wall socket “transfers the
electric current from the power lines to the building
2- An electric device (Lamp): An indicator.
3- Metal wire: connects all components and transfers
(conducts) the electricity from the battery to the lamp.
4- Switch (Key): controls opening and closing the circuit and it
may be manual as the wall switch for light and may be
automatic as internal switch on a thermostat
