1- A magnet generates an electric current.
2- The electric current has a magnetic effect.
Energy can’t be created
1- The Electric Generator (Dynamo): nor destroyed.
The magnet can generate electric energy.

Spin Magnet Electric current
? Structure:
It is made up of coiled wires and large magnets.
? Function:
It converts mechanical (kinetic) energy to electric energy.
? The idea of working:
Spinning magnets at high speed and this creates electrical
charges on the coiled wires, so electricity is produced.
? Forces can be used to spin the magnets in the generator:
1- Water in dams to operate water turbines.
2- Wind to operate wind turbines. Turbines used to
spin a generator
3- Sources of fuel to boil water producing steam.
