                     Getting Rid of Waste

                                                                             Cone filter “Nephron”

Beans “Blood cells”
  Rice “Proteins”
  Salts “urea and
       wastes”

Observation:

   1. The beans and rice don’t pass through the filter
   2. The salty water (urine) passes through the filter.

Conclusion:

              The kidneys work as a filtering system for the blood:
 When the blood enters them, they remove the waste materials as urine but
 blood cells and proteins are too large so they don’t pass through nephrons.
