Cox Communications conducts weekly sales meetings with 20 to 30 sales reps in attendance.
Leadership at Cox determined that their weekly meeting format was getting a little stale and were exploring new ways to engage their sales reps.

Attendees asked questions and commented that they were able to take away clear value from the meeting, and felt that Geniecast offered a different and fresher way to learn.
SITUATION
Cox Communications is a privately owned subsidiary of Cox Enterprises providing digital, cable television, telecommunications, and home automation services in the United States. Based in Atlanta, GA, Cox conducts weekly sales meetings with 20 to 30 sales reps in attendance.
CHALLENGE
The leadership at Cox determined that their weekly meeting format was getting a little stale and were exploring new ways to engage their sales reps. The typical format for the weekly sales meeting had been: announcements, followed by report-outs, a discussion, and then a viewing of a TedTalk to close the meeting.
SOLUTION
Geniecast proposed a new format which included using a keynote speaker on our live, two-way video platform. The proposed speaker was David Stillman, a generational expert, who Cox thought would be a great  t on a timely topic.
David consulted with the client in advance to understand the business, its challenges, and its target markets. He was also able to adapt the appropriate nomenclature into his presentation to offer customized applications and solutions to business challenges in the telecommunications environment.

RESULT
Attendees were engaged. They asked questions and commented that they were able to take away clear value from the meeting. They also felt that Geniecast offered a different and fresher way to learn. Cox Communications leadership loved the format and the Genie and are considering purchasing Geniecast packages for internal training as well as offering “limited seat” Casts to their top clients.
