                                    Clothesing in on ComfortOnce was a time when you couldn%u2019t dress fashionably and comfortably at the same time. Fashions consisted solely of chokingly tight tops and uncomfortably revealing bottoms. Of course, if you still want to dress that way, it%u2019s fashionably accepted, but there%u2019s also a new slant to style that al lows the wearer to be comfortable and fashionable, and the best of these clothes can be found at a new store in the Heights, the Natural Clothing Center, located at 182 Henry Street, just off Montague.Jerry, who owns the place, says it%u2019s sort of a coincidence that his stock suddenly became the height of fashion. He says he%u2019s always felt people should dress comfortably, whether or not it was stylish, so he stocked such practical items as army fatigues and parachute pants. Apparently enough merchants and consumers felt the way that he did, because this is the type of dress you%u2019 II see in the ritziest of areas.Natural Clothing Center carries comfortable clothing, most of which is made from completely natural materials and a lot of it has been hand dyed. They have everything there to complete that %u201c Annie Hall%u201d look and at a quality that brings %u2019em in, not only from all over Brooklyn Heights, but from Manhattan and elsewhere as well. %u201c The people in the Heights are beautiful and they needed a store like this, so I%u2019m doing pretty well,%u201d smiled Jerry, a vibrant man who used to be involved with the theater, who says that this store is his new stage.Natural Clothing Center is open six days a week, 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. except on Saturdays when it closes at 6. Stop by, just to look at the ceiling (which is a parachute), and chat with Jerry and you%u2019re bound to end up buying some of the exciting clothes before you get out.Natural Clothing Center, 182 Henry Street.
