The two institutions are jointly sponsoring an unusual free series of six book talks by well-known figures entitled %u201cBooks Sandwiched-In.%u201dThe programs will be'featured on two Mondays during the months of April, May and June at the YWCA Memorial Hall located at 30 Third Avenue, corner of Atlantic Avenue. To allow travel time for those working nearby, the talks have been scheduled to run from 12:12 P.M. TO 1/81/4:52 p.m.Those attending any or all of these fascinating talks are invited to bring their own lunch to the programs. Unlimited coffee or tea will be available for 35 cents. Attorney Bellamy is an activist in the women%u2019s right movement and in reform politics in South Brooklyn.At each session the Brooklyn Public Library will provide a book display of the volume or volumes discussed, as well as a selection of other relavent books. They will all be available for loan to anyone having a Brooklyn Public Library borrower%u2019s card. In addition, a oneminute stop at another library booth will allow those without cards to sign up for them. Those attending %u201c\are also invited to visit the system %u2019s Pacific CommunityCard Party to%u00abThe 21st Annual Dessert Card and Games Party sponsored by the Church Women United in Brooklyn, will be held Saturday, April 6, at 1:30 at the Hanson Place Central Methodist Church, Hanson Place and St. Felix St.The party is for the benefit of the camp scholarship program. Camp scholarships are given to needy children recommended by various pastors in Brooklyn churches and also to children recommended by a social service agency.Those who attend are asked to bring their own cards and games.
