Bentley of Year 5 was selected to represent the YP Zone in one of their three teams,
competing in the first ever School Sports SA Statewide Hockey carnival in Week 8. Well done Bentley on your selection, and efforts throughout the carnival!
SSSA Hockey
Throughout Week 8, teams of our 9/10, 5/6, and 3/4 students competed in the SACSA AFL competitions. On Monday, the 9/10 team showed skill and determination, competing with only 8 players in what was a 9-a-side competition. Although the competition was tough, they won a game and worked hard as a team.
On Wednesday, the 5/6 team (coached by Year 10 students Lucas and James) also competed with only 8 players for the day. Their teamwork and camaraderie was admirable. They won one game and had a number of tight contests.
The 3/4 team (also coached by Lucas and James) finished the week with a great display of football skills and teamwork on Friday. They continued to develop their understanding of the game, kicked some fantastic goals, and overall had a fun day.
Congratulations to all our players, coaches and
volunteers on representing our College with pride.
