Hot Shots Tennis
On Thursday of Week 5, Year 3 and 4 students were invited to participate in the Hot Shots Tennis Carnival at the Copper Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, competing against other Northern Yorke Peninsula schools. The day began with ball skills training games, followed by demonstrations of tennis skills and rules by the leaders. The remainder of the day was spent playing doubles matches against each other. A fantastic day was had by all.
Years 1-6 Tennis Clinics
Throughout Weeks 3 - 5, our Year 1 - 6 classes participated in Tennis Clinics with Tennis Australia coach Grant Hanlon, funded by a grant received from Sporting Schools Australia.
The students really enjoyed the clinics, showed great improvement, and many are eager to
participate again!
