Throughout Weeks 4 - 6, our Year 6 students commenced
the transition to Middle School. Over three weeks, they
experienced what it is like to be a middle school student:
reading a timetable, learning to be prepared for subjects
in different classrooms, and getting a taste of some of the
new subjects that will be available to them. Some highlights
included programming robots in Digital Technologies,
changing tyres in Automotive Studies, and witnessing
sodium explosions in Science. An information evening was
held on Tuesday of Week 5, where families were given the
opportunity to ask questions,
tour the College, and receive
information about the subjects
the students will study in Year 7.
