Mother’s Day
On Wedneday and Thursday of Week 2 Term 2, our annual Mother’s Day Stall was held.
The stall gives students (and staff) the opportunity to spoil their special person, whilst
contributing to the largest fundraiser held each year by our Friends of Harvest Committee.
An enormous thank you goes out to all the volunteers who helped make the stall a success.
On Tuesday of Week 11 Term 1, our
Primary school lawn transformed into an
explosion of creativity and colour as our
Year 7 and 8 girls took on the challenge of
spray painting for the first time!
With just 40 minutes on the clock, they
sketched, laminated, and crafted their
stencils with a flurry of excitement in the
art room, before stepping out into the sun
to bring their visions to life.
Using bulldog clips to attach their stencils
to the backs of art chairs, they spray-painted with enthusiasm, creating a dazzling array of designs.
While we wish we could showcase every masterpiece, time and a touch of shyness meant we
captured just a glimpse of the creativity that
unfolded.
A massive round of applause to our young
artists for their incredible work and to our
community for your continued support.
Times like these remind us of the boundless
creativity our students possess and the joy of
bringing art into the open air.
