Phuket Raceweek 2022 is pleased to announce and thank Asia
Catamarans for joining our event as Island Partner.
Asia Catamarans based in Phuket, Thailand has continued its
success story over the 10 years that Swiss boatbuilder Roger
Karen Rowlands skipper “Twister 2”
Diggelmann joined up with Australian boat builder and yacht
designer Alan Carwardine.
Alan was looking for a boat building facility in Asia to concentrate
on building his own designed catamarans under his design name
Stealth Designs.
It was an obvious choice to team up with Roger who had the same
passion and vision to produce fast and fun cruising catamarans that
also have striking looks.
The Stealth Designed cats have many innovations most of which
are aimed to suit tropical conditions, unlike the mass production of
European designed catamarans.
Asia Catamarans ‘Fez’
Asia Catamarans are a pleasure to sail.
They are an absolute pleasure to sail and with displacements well
below any of the opposition, they are true performance catamarans
keeping up with purpose build race boats around the race tracks.
Stealth catamaran number 25, a completely new and radical design
called a Stealth X Series 43 is soon to be launched.
With another 9 orders locked in the production, the schedule runs
well into 2025.
The company is a major employer in the area to keep up with the orders.
