of the minutes of the last meeting held at Point

Clear, Alabama, December 5;1955 /

On motion, however, by Mr. Duncan, seconded ly

Mr. Beardslee, and carried, the reading of the min­

utes was dispensed with.

Chairman Wellford called attention to the fact that

at the last meeting MrHesket Kahn was appointed Chair­

man of a temporary Committee to investigate activi­

ties and projects which could property be carried on

by the Club, and to report at this meeting.

Mr. Kuhn stated that he had asked Mr. Lloyd E

Mize and Mr. Harold E Seymour to serve with him

bi making the report for the Committee he reviewed

the Original Purpose and Rules as recorded in the

minutes of the first meeting and various changes

and amendments adopted since then.

In reviewing the minutes, he said, there will be

found frequent reference to the fact that the meet­

ings shall he of a more serious nature, utilizing

in some dignified and constructive manner the
years of experience of members on behalf of

our industry.
