To become certified, applicants
must meet eligibility requirements
including employment, professional
development, and educational degree
and must successfully complete a
comprehensive examination, which
tests fundamental knowledge of all
areas of the association management
profession.
To maintain certification, CAEs must
accumulate professional credits over
three-year periods to demonstrate
their involvement in association
management, continuing education,
and the profession.
