 Natural  it all depends on your point of view!




        Certain plants contain essential oils or other substances that insects and various pests absolutely
        hate. Natural repellents, they protect the plants they surround. Other plants are fantastic at attracting

 all the way  pollinators, such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, which we love to see populate the garden since
        they also keep our flowers blooming. Both have a place in the garden!

        Mosquito repellent plants


        The high repellency of some plants is so strong that even our famous mosquitos are reluctant to go near
        them. Placed strategically around and even on the deck, they will allow you to spend long, enjoyable
        evenings outside without being eaten alive by those pesky mosquitos.

        Plants that have a lemony fragrance: lemon-basil, lemon-thyme, lemon balm, lemon-eucalyptus,
        lemon geranium, lemongrass

        Plants that give off a peppery scent: peppermint, most geraniums
