KCPAC and the KAFSP jointly hosted a book launch event at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in
Seoul inviting more than 100 figures from South Korea’s politics, diplomacy, security, and
academia, including former Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn. Then-presidential candidate
Yoon Suk-yeol said in a video message, “the reckless push by the Moon Jae-in administra-
tion to declare the end of the [Korean War] shakes the national security and puts the
people in danger. What should be focused on before declaring the end of the war is
North Korea’s denuclearization and prevention of provocations and strengthening the
ROK-U.S. alliance and solid cooperation with the international community are the
answers.”

2021년 12월 한국보수주의연합(KCPAC)은 한미자유안보정책센터(KAFSP)와 공동으로 한국의 그랜드하얏트
호텔에서 황교안 전 국무총리를 비롯한 한국의 정치, 외교, 안보, 학계의 주요 인사 100여명을 초청하여,
"종전선언 반대 한미 전문가 연구 발표회 및 안보대회"를 개최했다. 당시 국민의힘 대통령 후보였던 윤석열 현
대통령은 영상메시지를 통해 “문재인 정부의 무모한 종전선언 추진이 국가의 안보를 흔들고 국민을 위험하게 한다.
또한 종전선언에 앞서 주력해야 할 것은 북한의 비핵화와 도발 방지이며, 한미동맹의 강화와 국제사회와의 탄탄한
공조가 그 해답이다”라고 전했다.
