If an associate is enrolled in one of Busey’s
consumer-driven health plans, they can choose to
earn up to a $750 HSA contribution* in addition to
a $350 medical premium discount for the following
year or up to $1,000 in cash incentives. Those not
electing medical coverage through Busey can earn
up to $1,000 in cash incentives. Rewards for levels
earned are paid out on a quarterly basis.

The $350 medical premium discount is applied the
following year as a $13.47 taxable credit over the 26
pay periods. All cash incentives are subject to taxes
per the IRS. All cash incentives are grossed up to
account for this tax.


* HSA incentives and associated levels are based on eligibility to open
an HSA account. Associates not eligible for an HSA will be eligible
to receive cash incentives. Please contact your Busey Beneits Team
with questions about qualiications with opening an HSA.
