Vacation—Staff Only

For regular full-time staff employees, the length of
annual paid vacation is determined by employment
classiication and years of continuous service earned
through a current iscal year (July 1 through June 30).
Vacation must be taken by June 30 following iscal
year end.

Academic year full-time staff (who are not in a
temporary status and who are regularly scheduled
to work 30 hours or more per week for nine or ten
months during the academic year) are granted an
annual vacation according to the same schedule with
the amount of vacation time being prorated (9/12 or
10/12 of the vacation time given to a regular full-
time employee).


At the time of termination, an employee will receive
compensation for unused and accrued current iscal
year vacation per the full vacation policy in force at
the time of the termination.


Regular full-time staff are also eligible to accrue sick
days at the rate of one half day per month, up to a
maximum of 14 days.

Note: Fontbonne also offers a liberal holiday schedule.
However, since it is established at the beginning of
each iscal year, it is not listed in this document.
