Essential Med
Essential Med New this year, you have access to an Essential Med coverage option
that meets your individual mandate for healthcare coverage.
New This Year Americare’s Essential Med meets the employee’s responsibility for
the individual mandate at a very affordable cost. This plan prevents
employees from paying a penalty for not having insurance. At the same
time it provides 100 percent paid in-network preventive services, as
well as up front beneits such as doctor visits for $10 prepay, Rx card,
and diagnostic lab and x-ray beneits. There are additional inpatient
and outpatient beneits included, as well as free, unlimited Consult a
Doc medical beneits. Essential Med is designed to provide beneits for
everyday occurrences, but is not meant to cover catastrophic events.
X Essential Med has no deductibles, no medical questions, and no
pre-existing limitations
X Your deductions are payroll deducted pre-tax which makes your
cost even more affordable
