Who Should Consider the Aetna Point-of-
Service (POS) plans?
The POS options are the most expensive plans
as it relates to the bi-weekly payroll contribution;
however, you will pay less out of pocket when
services are rendered.


Important update for 2021—All spousal surcharges
will be waived during the 2021 plan year. This update is
temporary. The surcharge will pick back up in 2022.


A $25.00 per-pay-period Spousal Surcharge is assessed
for those employees who elect medical coverage for their
spouses. The surcharge will not apply if your spouse
doesn’t have access to his or her own employer-sponsored
coverage. Employees will be required to sign a statement
during the enrollment period conirming their spouse’s
beneit coverage options. If your spouse experiences a
change in beneit coverage options during the calendar
year please contact Human Resources within 30 days
of the event date to request a change to the spousal
