There are some positive aspects of which we want to make you aware.
X As you know, the on-site clinic is now open 5 days a week, and beginning 12/1/15 the clinic will
see covered dependent children ages 18–26.
X Clinic visits are still available to you at no cost if you are covered under our insurance plan; and
you are not required to clock out for a visit.
X The clinic dispenses many generic drugs at no cost to you.
X If you participate in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you will now be provided a debit card
for even easier access.
X We are offering new voluntary products through Unum including Term Life Insurance, Short-term
Disability, Long-term Disability, Speciied Disease, and Whole Life Insurance.
X We will be moving toward an outcome-based wellness program. This means you will receive a
“health score” after the irst of the year based on your November 2015 HRA results. You will be
responsible for improving that score by the next HRA event in 2016. We strongly encourage you
to monitor your progress throughout the year; however, you will no longer have required follow-up
visits to the clinic based on your score and/or risk factors.
X For your convenience, we now offer an online beneit administration system through Beneits
Connect for easy enrollment and/or beneit changes.
We realize there are a lot of changes for the coming plan year, and we hope you will utilize all of the
available resources to help plan effectively and make informed decisions during Open Enrollment. Our
company takes healthcare very seriously from the top down. We can’t stress enough how important
it is for each of us to take our healthcare seriously and continue to embrace our individual
wellness initiatives/goals. Please take time to review and understand these changes and new offerings
provided to you. We encourage you to take advantage of the new enrollment system, the call center
personnel as well as any member of the HR team to make sure that you make the best choices for you
and your family.
Sincerely,
Dan Gauthreaux
VP of Human Resources
