FSA Administration
Our FSA program is administered through UnitedHealthcare (UHC).
Because UHC also administers our account-based medical programs, if
you enroll in one of our UHC plans and elect to participate in the FSA
program you can manage your medical and FSA claims at the same
time through myUHC.com. Dependent Care FSA contributions will be
loaded onto the same debit card as the Healthcare FSA.
Additionally, the Nortek plan includes the $500 rollover FSA provision.
Previously, you needed to “use or lose” FSA dollars by the end of
the plan year. In 2015, you can rollover up to $500 of unused FSA
dollars into your account to use in the 2016 plan year. The amount you
rollover is in addition to your regular annual election.
Restricted Debit Card
When you enroll in the Healthcare FSA you will receive a restricted
debit card to use for FSA eligible expenses. Your FSA debit card
eligible expenses include dental, vision, pharmacy, and over-the-counter
medications with a written prescription from your doctor. Under
the UHC HRA plan, any expenses you incur to satisfy your medical
deductible or out-of-pocket maximum are directly applied towards your
HRA account. Additionally, in the HRA plan, when you have a copay
expense you are required to pay out-of-pocket irst, and due to a new
rollover feature you will receive an automatic reimbursement for the
copay expenses without submitting a claim form. The reimbursement
will be reimbursed via check.
