Beneits Guide
Short and Long
Term Disability Short Term Disability Insurance Coverage
Short Term Disability (STD) protects your income by providing you
with a percentage of your income while you are unable to work due
to an accident or sickness. The beneit is equal to 60% of your weekly
salary, up to a maximum of $1,000 per week and is offered through
Mutual of Omaha. Beneits would begin on the 8th day of an accident
or sickness and may continue for up to 13 weeks. Olshan Properties
provides this beneit at no cost to you.
Long Term Disability
In addition to the Short Term Disability beneit, Olshan Properties
provides a Long Term Disability beneit should you be disabled and
unable to work for 90 days or more due to an accident or illness. Once
you meet the plan’s deinition of disability and satisfy the elimination
period, the plan pays up to 50% of your pay up to a maximum of
$7,500 per month. This beneit is offered through Mutual of Omaha
and paid for by Olshan Properties.
