2016 Medical and Prescription Plan
Choices
Cigna will continue to administer Franke’s comprehensive medical plans.
Cigna’s network offers greater access to in-network providers and deeper
discounts on services. This will result in lower costs to you and our plan.
Cigna also provides extensive online resources including care, cost, and
quality comparison tools.
Medical Plan Choices
You have two medical plans from which to choose in 2016.
Open Access Plus Plan
The HRA plan will be replaced with the OAP plan. The OAP plan has a
lower annual deductible than the Choice Fund HSA plan, but has a higher
premium cost.
If you participate in the 2016 wellness plan as described previously,
Franke will deposit funds into your FSA. Refer to page 12 for details on
the FSA plan.
Choice Fund HSA Plan
The Choice Fund HSA plan has a lower per pay period premium cost to
you, but a higher calendar year deductible and out-of-pocket maximum.
All non-preventive medical and prescription services apply toward the
deductible and out-of-pocket maximum. The Choice Fund HSA plan
deductible is based on the type of coverage you elect. If you elect to
cover a member of your family, the full family deductible must be met
before the plan will pay for any services. The same is true of the out-of-
pocket maximum. Once the full family out-of-pocket maximum is met,
you and your covered family members will receive 100 percent coverage
for the remainder of the calendar year.
