Disability Beneits
There are two types of disability beneits available under your GLG beneit plan: short term disability and long
term disability. Short term disability provides beneits for up to 13 weeks; long term disability provides beneits
after short term disability beneits have been exhausted. Long term disability may be payable until retirement
age. You must qualify for these beneits in order to receive payment under the plan.
Short Term Disability (STD)
Short term disability beneits are provided to you if you cannot work as a result of illness, injury, or pregnancy. In
order to qualify for these beneits, you must be unable to perform one or more of the main duties of your job, or
be unable to perform your duties on a full-time basis.
Who provides your STD Beneits? Years of Continuous
Your STD beneit is administered through Unum and by Service 2020 Salary Continuation
