RETIREE HEALTH COVERAGE
The rising cost of medical care is affecting the ability of many
employers to continue retiree medical beneits. Since 1990, the
percentage of U.S. employers offering medical beneits to retirees
has declined from over 60% to less than 30%.
The Company is pleased to continue to provide retiree
medical coverage to you. The Retiree Medical program offers
comprehensive medical, prescription drug, vision and dental
beneits. These beneits are provided to you at a competitive group
rate. Depending on your individual circumstances, this may be
better than rates available in the individual market.
You are eligible for Retiree Medical beneits if you have at least
10 years of service and you are at least age 62 when you retire
from employment with the Company. If you are eligible, you will
have access to the medical and prescription drug program options
available to active employees, again, at a competitive group rate.
