dealing with learning, social, or behavioral differences, or developmental
disabilities such as ADHD and autism, meeting their needs can feel like a
big unknown.

States have a developmental disability. That is why we are introducing Rethink
Benefits, a program that offers 24/7 virtual access to board-certified behavioral
clinicians and educators, and online, evidence-based training just for parents and
caregivers like you.
This program is free so you can better understand, teach, and communicate with
your child.

Log in and schedule a consult by phone or web conference
Download the mobile app for convenient access in the future
Adoption Assistance
Adoption Assistance provides financial assistance or reimbursement up to or in
the amount of $5,000 for certain expenses related to the adoption of a child.
Assistance may be provided for adoption-related expenses such as adoption
agency fees, legal fees, maternity fees for the birth mother, placement fees,
foreign adoption fees, and transportation or travel expenses directly related to
the adoption.
This policy pertains to adoptions in which the child is younger than 18 (or age 23
if a special needs child) and the employee’s spouse/ spousal equivalent is not the
child’s parent. Payment will be made once the adoption process is complete and
the child has been placed with the employee.
