Employee Assistance
Program (EAP)
Concerns such as stress, balancing work and family demands, or
coping with personal, family, or work problems can affect job
performance and relationships at home and in the workplace.
To assist employees and their dependents who are experiencing
problems, EPS offers access to two EAP programs at no cost to you.
UnitedHealthcare/Care24
Care24 provides conidential support to members for everyday
challenges or even for more serious problems such as mental health,
inancial or legal advice, eating disorders, etc. Through Care24,
members have 24/7 access to nurses and EAP programs.
Unum Work-Life EAP
Employees have access to an EAP program through Unum which
offers conidential assistance with work-life balance issues such as
identity theft and inancial fraud. This program includes around-the-
clock resources to protect yourself, your identity, and your inances.
Travel Assistance
Electric Powers System offers travel assistance coverage through
Unum at no additional cost to the employee. This coverage provides
assistance for those unexpected emergencies—whether travelling
for business or pleasure—for employees, their covered spouses, and
dependents.
Unum’s worldwide emergency travel assistance provides access to:
Qualiied medical resources
Prescription replacement
Legal and interpreter referrals
Transportation assistance
