               supporting sports and athletes, as well as its strong belief in its ability to advance the national sports movement.


               H.E. Al Hazami concluded his statement with optimism about the future of the sports movement, stating that
               the Ministry of Sports’ comprehensive strategic plan reinforces the concept of integration among all institutions

               and aligns with the strategies of the National Olympic Committee and sports councils as key partners in
               achieving the vision of 'We the UAE 2031'.


               H.E. Khalfan Belhoul, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, stated: “The Ministry of Sports plays a

               leading and pivotal role in shaping the future of national sports and creating the right path and directions for
               the coming phase. We highly value its organization of the ‘Strategic Planning Session’, which aims to unify

               national efforts and enhance joint work among the various stakeholders in the sector, to develop a clear and
               integrated vision for the next stage.”


               He added: “The Dubai Sports Council reaffirms its strong commitment to translating the outcomes of this

               session into actionable initiatives that strengthen system-wide integration and support the realization of the
               objectives of ‘We the UAE 2031’, thereby reinforcing the UAE’s position as a model of excellence, governance,

               and innovation in sports.”


               H.E. emphasized that nurturing sports talents is a national project that requires an integrated institutional
               approach based on partnership and shared responsibility among all stakeholders. In this regard, the Dubai

               Sports Council organises 13 championships and competitions across 22 sports, involving 395 sports academies
               across 9 age categories, with participation from 908 teams and over 25,000 athletes, both male and female,

               further reflecting the Council’s depth of investment to establishing a solid and sustainable sports foundation,
               and reaffirm the Council’s approach to discovering and nurturing talent in line with the highest standards.


               He concluded: “Joint efforts with our partners in this key sector serve as a catalyst for achieving measurable,

               exceptional milestones and a driver for enhancing the competitiveness of Dubai and the UAE regionally and
               globally. The Dubai Sports Council will continue to support the national directions led by the Ministry, and to

               activate the outcomes of this event through clearly defined, impact-driven programs that strengthen the leading
               role of the sports ecosystem and align with the aspirations of our wise leadership and the vision of ‘We the UAE
               2031’.”
