The department’s selection spotlighted creative contributions by Abdullah Al Ali and
Mariam Al Hamrani, whose tourism experiences delve into the hidden treasures of
Masfout. Their initiatives emphasize community empowerment, cultural exploration,
and local engagement, positioning Ajman as a unique destination for immersive travel.
These experiences promise to inspire personal growth while promoting the Emirate’s
role in the UAE’s tourism landscape.
Unveiling Hidden Gems
Masfout, a picturesque enclave in Ajman, forms the centerpiece of these experiences.
Visitors are invited on a two-day journey that includes hiking through scenic trails,
meditative sessions in serene landscapes, and immersive cultural activities. Highlights
include exploring ancient water channels (“Aflaaj”), visiting local museums and farms,
and spending a day as guests with local families, offering a rare glimpse into the
authentic Emirati lifestyle.
Leadership Speaks
Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism
Development, expressed his enthusiasm for the program: “Our training initiatives aim
to inspire the younger generation to actively participate in the tourism sector. By
fostering creativity and innovation, we create meaningful opportunities for Emirati
talent, enriching the tourism industry with fresh perspectives and dynamic energy.”
Khadija Mohammed Turki, Tourism Marketing and Promotion Expert, highlighted the
