Tourism Development, and it will take place at the Emirates Hospitality Hall in Ajman from
Wednesday, July 30 to Sunday, August 3, 2025.
In this regard, Eng. Khaled Moeen Al Hosani, Executive Director of the MDPA’s Public Health and
Environment Sector emphasized that the Department’s participation comes within the framework
of its annual commitment to participating in national festivals that contribute to highlighting
heritage and strengthening Emirati identity. He explained that the festival represents an important
platform for introducing authentic heritage, highlighting the crafts practiced by our ancestors, and
consolidating the concepts of sustainability and agricultural awareness.
Diverse Participations and Interactive Workshops
Eng. Al Hosani stated that the MDPA’s participation will include contributions from the Agriculture
and Parks Department, which will conduct educational agricultural workshops focused on palm
tree planting. Additionally, the Central Laboratories Department will offer a complimentary service
for testing honey samples.
“The participation of the Central Laboratories marks its second consecutive year, as part of efforts
to promote public health and ensure the quality of local products. Qualified specialists will
conduct daily testing using the latest technologies, including analyses of sugar content, HMF
levels, moisture, and various types of honey such as Sidr, Samar, crystallized honey, and
honeycomb. The aim is to ensure product quality and uphold transparency in the selection of
winners in the honey competitions”, Eng. Al Hosani added.

“The 10 edition will feature more diverse and comprehensive workshops targeting all segments of
society, in addition to updating some of the techniques used in the examination to ensure the
highest quality and accuracy, he explained.
An Open Invitation to the Public
Eng. Al Hosani invited visitors to explore the MDPA’s pavilion during the festival days and learn more
about the key workshops and services on offer. He praised the festival’s significant role in bringing
together experts and specialists from various entities to exchange best practices and experiences
in the agricultural sector, contributing to a more sustainable and prosperous future.
It is worth noting that the MDPA remains committed to actively participating in festivals that aim to
raise community awareness, promote authentic Emirati heritage, and advance the principles of
sustainable agriculture and public health- all in alignment with the Ajman 2030 Vision.
